Hi! We're BrainForest Digital, the animation studio that specializes in animatics. In 1995, we developed a new way to produce animatics, using the power of the Macintosh. In 2006, we changed everything again with the development of HyperReal® artwork and animatics.

When our director Joe Matamales was working in the advertising field, methods for producing animatics were antiquated, slow, and expensive. Joe saw a real need for a new way of producing animatics, so he launched BrainForest Digital.

11 years later, BrainForest Digital revolutionized the industry again with HyperReal® animatics, a new breed of 3D animatics that provides a more realistic testing tool.

Today, BrainForest Digital is still going strong. We're always innovating, learning new programs and techniques, and coming up with new ways to do stuff. We have years of experience working for agencies all around the world. In addition to our HyperReal® 3D artwork, we have a stable of talented artists at our disposal (of course, we're happy to work with an artist of your choice, too).
